"If you have everything under control, you're not moving fast enough" - Mario Andretti
Few things stir the blood like roosting up, down and around hills and berms while straddling the power of a motorcycle. As kids we did this fearlessly. As adults, we crave the nostalgia and excitement. We have put these clinics and camps on the Optime’ event calendar as we know the importance of tapping our kindred spirits. We have designed clinics to hone your skills and enduro camps to test them and satiate your sense of adventure.
Our clinics are 1-2 day sessions at OHV parks. With expert instruction we practice on a variety of motocross tracks to develop your skills and progress them on trails and single track. Often we will bring multiple instructors and a variety of motorcycles for you to work with. Bikes range from 150cc two strokes to 500cc thumpers.
Camps are 2-4 day sessions held high in the slopes of the Sierras and surrounding mountains where mother nature has whipped up the best obstacles imaginable. We set up base camp in great locations and explore the surrounding region: blazing down rutted OHV roads, throttling through creek crossings, and launching over logs and off boulders. Note: for your safety and overall quality of experience You must be able to execute basic enduro riding skills (see below) to attend. Please see details below and email us for more information. - Q – Can I come to a camp if I have not attended a clinic?
- A – Yes, but it is mandatory that you are able to execute basic riding skills on demand for your safety and overall positive experience.
