XLR8R (pronounced “accelerator”) are our gold standard small group strength training classes designed to give you results.  Taught by elite coaches certified by USA Triathlon, USA Cycling and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) who know what you need to elevate your performance to the next level. 

 
 

XLR8R Strength

These functional strength training classes focus on core, flexibility and a balanced kinetic chain.  In addition we add modalities like CrossFit® and power lifting to optimize type-2 muscle fiber recruitment to improve speed, performance, metabolic rate, and muscular composition change.  Participants will experience 75 minutes of high intensity, constantly varied, functional exercises. Our programs are based on the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and OPT (Optimal Performance Training) model, designed to take clients through the three phases of training: stabilization, strength, and power development.

Training is hard.  Doing it on your own during the winter can seem impossible.  We have the solution, Optimal Winter Training.  When it comes to off season training,  most people just “wing it” and relegate themselves to getting a little fatter and a little slower with each passing holiday season.  We say STOP!  Stop blaming, age, injury, even “the weather” for sub optimal performance.  This winter, train smarter with a sure fire plan for success.  Our coaches have curated the top three training variables: nutrition, strength and threshold conditioning to create a program for you to improve.   Whether you’re an “average Joe” or competitive athlete, we have a winning strategy for you.

Our 3 month program includes the following:

  •        Full Performance Fitness Assessment – Strength, Flexibility, Nutrition, Body Composition       
  •        FTP – Functional Threshold Power test to determine power : weight ratio
  •        Complete personalized strength & fitness program w progression
  •        Weekly indoor group strength classes for a strong kinetic chain (Mon / Wed 6:00pm)
  •      GRiT (Group Race Training) outdoor weekend bike and run training
